Chesterfield Elementary School – Seeking approval to begin
Please pray for school teacher Melissa. Parents at the school are very supportive. Pray that, once permission is obtained, staff and a supporting church will step forward.

Praise the Lord for the exciting start of Good News Club at the Northfield School! Our team really enjoyed it and we had good participation from all who came. Seventeen boys and girls attended and one girl, Sierra, made a profession of faith. Please pray for growth in this Club and that the transition will be smooth when Tammy can no longer help with the teaching.

The kids were well behaved! 10 children went over for counseling. Most of the children had prayed before but were unsure and needed reassurance. I trust in the verses that say "the natural man does not seek after God" and "He who began a good work will finish it".... They may not fully understand or be assured, but for them to show a desire to have their sin forgiven is not of them and He is faithful.
Praise: A girl told me she and her dad went to church for the first time. She didn't know the name of the church, but I was encouraged to hear that.
A former club parent called me, fearful that she wasn't saved and that the Lord's return was near. I was able to re-explain the Gospel to her and encourage her to begin reading her Bible again with her husband. She also agreed to read some books that I will be giving to her in the next week or so. Please pray for her and the children. Thanks again! -Karyn

We have 53 students from grades 1-8. With this large group and limited time, we counsel as a whole group. We are estimating around 12 children have come forward. We have 3 teachers presently teaching. Thanks with joy, Marybeth

Praise the Lord for David, who received the Lord as his Savior on Dec. 22. He gave quite a testimony when we met 2 weeks ago. It's been exciting to see all the Lord is doing throughout NJ. Many of us feel a real burden as time draws short & are ever more committed to make the Gospel message clear & desirable to the children He has committed to our care. – Linda
